    August 12, 2023 - Deepish brassy gold.
Initially the nose felt a bit over, but with aeration, it comes back to life, revealing a mature riesling nose - an old jar of honey, wax, raisins and oxidised apples.
Lovely palate. Obviously very mature, but it's all there. The sweetness is fading, but there's still a good acidity and very secondary riesling fruit. Class and elegance showing through.

June 7, 2022 - Noble Rot: Dark golden in colour, in a good place with the complexity that comes with secondary development. The sweetness is fading but acidity and fruit are still very much intact, quite an elegant and understated expression for an Auslese, probably a cooler vintage? Not too heavy or cloying, went well with chocolate mousse cake.

October 13, 2018 - Sorting through my wine, I noticed this was oozing a bit, so I decided to give it a try. The cork was fully saturated and broke apart as I extracted it with my Durand. The color is medium amber. The nose is somewhat muted with hints of botrytis and citrus. Medium thickness for an auslese. Crisp and sweet in the mouth like a Macintosh apple with a bit of honey drizzled on it. Delicious and refreshing. I could easy drink this with a hot dog or popcorn. Quite yummy. No rush to drink, but I wouldn't hold off either.

June 4, 2018 - An auslese on the lighter side, this has reached full maturity. Beeswax, orange peel, medium-long finish. Delicate with excellent balancing acidity, I would not hesitate to open a bottle now
