July 29, 2016 - 2 hour decant. 12.5%. Ramisco.
Over 30 years old but still full of life and vitality - red with hints of coffee - fat legs - tight in the nose - plums, damsons - statuesque but not voluptuous - lovely balance on precise acid - long and sensuous finish - very nice wine with years still ahead of it. -

December 1, 2001 - Relatively light colour, bright and lively red, narrow orange rim; good depth, spicy, oak and plummy fruit, ethereal, perfumed top notes; good fruit, firm structure, slightly rusty tannins, crisp acidity, transparent, hint of austerity; somewhat drying on the finish, very good length. Old fashioned Ramisco.

November 15, 1996 - A private tasting: Lovely warm garnet; plummy fruit, young and very lively at 11 years old; traditional, firm, powerfully structured, lively, sève; excellent length. Long-lived, will easily last another 20 years.
