August 18, 2012 - As far as I can tell, this wine is not yet available to the public in the US, which is a shame. It comes in a cute 500 ml bottle. Golden amber in color, medium intensity. The nose is medium plus in intensity, with wonderful aromas of apricots, lemon, lime, vanilla, hazelnut and honey. The palate is sweet, with flavors consistent with the nose, and a luscious, creamy, sweet-savory finish. The acidity is medium plus, the alcohol is medium, whereas the body, flavor intensity and length are all medium plus. A delightful dessert wine, which is drinkeable now but is likely to last for many more years if you can keep your hands off of it. This is a very remarkeable wine because it sees no oak, resulting in crisp fresh fruit and vibrant acidity. Will need to find more.
