April 21, 2019 - Unscrewed and poured. Sharp lichee aroma with floral and metallic notes. Crisp flavors of apricot, minerals. Petrol in the finish. Firm backbone, tart, some complexity. Young, aggressive, vibrant. Has a sharp, metallic texture that I've found in other Aussie riesling. It's not unpleasant, just unusual and unique (in my experience) to Australia.
Sound, enjoyable, interesting. Good value. -
