September 18, 2016 - Ostertag's only Haut-Rhin exploitation, which he does not own(at least when visiting a handful of years ago) and has long term contract. Salty and savory from some oxidation similar to Savignin sous-voile. Good minerality. Needed a lot of air to become more expressive.

June 25, 2014 - This is as beautiful as I can wish at this moment. Fresh, clean, complex, light bodied, but full of aroma's. Still reticent. I have to patient. Next bottle 2016.

June 20, 2014 - Alsace Riesling tasting (At Halvor's): Light golden. Rich aroma with tropical fruit. Same story on the palate, rich style with tropical friut and some oak. Medium acidity for a 2010.

August 31, 2013 - Aromatic and mineral. Nicely concentrated, fullbodied riesling. More power here than in the Epfig. Very good.
