November 30, 2022 - Nose: pineapple, hint of honey, popcorn, caramel, banana, yogurt
Notes: This is still very light in color and in perfect condition with a long and lingering aftertaste. This wine is a little on the sweet side which was quite a surprise for me as I never thought this maker will give you sweet notes. Quite full bodied in nature it feels like there's plenty of life ahead of this wine and I think it can benefit from another 5-8 years or cellaring.

September 18, 2022 - Pausing for the Cause 2022 (Part 2) (Chicago, IL): A little disappointing next to the 2009, this feels very lean and lacking in weight and concentration. Lots of acidity and a little bit of green, all the while carrying quite a bit of oak and the usual PYCM reduction. A good effort in a tough vintage.

April 11, 2021 - This was also really good out of a stellar line up; Green color! lots of redux, but a mature kind of aspect with mint cilantro, bright, youthful. Well-balanced and very tasty. Guessed 2014. DD at Crustacean.

August 18, 2020 - With oysters then monkfish and scallops in Plockton. Give it time after opening to allow depth to emerge and then it truly sings. Nicely evolved, years ahead of it.

June 6, 2020 - Delicious.
Pale golden color; subtle nose and correspondingly delicate tastes - tart citrus, macadamia nut, vanilla, and the slightest whiff of talc after an hour. Needed 5 minutes in the glass to open up, yet it did not develop substantially, as if muted, and the finish was surprisingly short.
I can't imagine it being closed, and hope it isn't on the downhill, but am inclined to hold my second bottle for perhaps a year?
Rated +2 on a scale of -1 to +3 (my anticipation was for a +3; and if I had drunk blind, I might have rated only +1.
