May 31, 2021 - Vanilla, woods, spices and black fruits, but luckily with underlying acidity. Still "in your face" for the moment. I kept the remainder for 2 days in the fridge and then it was somewhat smoothed out. So I believe this wine is still not at peak, but will be within 2 or 3 years...

May 29, 2021 - Full bodied wine with a very expressive nose. Lots of things are going on, but without going over the top. You find ripe tannins, black fruits, spices and a rather high level of wood which is just 'not too much'. The high level of acidity brings freshness. Just missing a bit of elegance and the elements are a bit shooting in every direction. But it is a well made wine of high quality.

November 16, 2016 - A very vibrant and delicious old vine Tempranillo. Aged 32 months in primary and secondary barrels. An expressive nose of dark cherry, violet, roasted coffee, woodsmoke, and mingled black fruits. Great acidity and structure on the palate with rich black fruit flavors and a hint of caramel. Still some grip on the back end suggesting this can further develop over the next 3-5 years. Very pleasant wine that would appeal to both new and old world style purists.

November 1, 2014 - Aromas diversos e complexos. A força da fruta integrada com madeira tostada. Especiado, fruta vermelha e negra. Fino em nariz e longo em boca. Necessita vários anos em garrafa para expressar outras sensações. Uma jóia.
