  July 9, 2018 - Huge sweat dark fruit on the nose and palate. Easy drinking and the fruit only makes it slightly amusing. Not a lot of complexity or depth as I found the finish on the short side. Well made wine, just not where my palate preference is at the moment.

  July 9, 2018 - Decanted at local restaurant. Purchased at winery in 2014 based on tasting experience. Wonderful aromatic nose that reveals what is in store for the palate. Incredibly silky juice that leaves no doubt of the winemaker's skill and quality of the fruit. WS finallly got one right. Absolutely worthy of their Top 100 list.

  December 3, 2017 - Popped and poured. This is a light-cherry-red wine. The cork was somewhat moist toward the top, but there appeared to be no effect on the wine. On the nose, I get herbal tea, cherry, cinnamon, mushroom, and rosehips. In the mouth, this is crisp and sappy, with nice raspberry flavors and a lingering spicy finish. Overall, this is a nice and highly enjoyable wine, one with multiple layers on the nose and in the mouth. 92 points.
