Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of toasted oak, chalky minerality, gamey meat, black pepper, coffee, plums. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, fine medium+ tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of toasted oak, gamey meat, chalky minerality, leather, coffee, black pepper, black cherry, red plums. Medium+ finish.
Good quality. Tertiary notes already developed. Fruit is still there, so I think this could go for another year or 2, but not likely to improve any more. Drink up. -
