June 17, 2019 - Even at nine years from vintage still on the youthful side, with years left. Classic Booker traits; big, bold, concentrated, yet smooth. Sexy nose. As before, give it time to breathe for the best showing.

February 25, 2017 - Drank over two days. Popped and poured on Day 1 and drank half the bottle. Drank the second half on Day 2. Kept in a cool wine cellar since its delivery from the winery. Cork was in excellent shape. Color was deep purple in color with little fading at the edge. Nose of peppers, cherry and Sonoran desert. It fills the palate with a rotating list of flavors with black pepper, sweet tannins and cherry all making an appearance. This is in a prime drinking window right now and for at least 3 or 4 years to come. An excellent showing from Booker.

May 2, 2016 - We decanted and drank within two hours. Nice fruit and great color. Enjoyed!!

April 11, 2016 - Definitely benefits from a loong decanting before consumption. If Napa Cab & WA Syrah had a baby, this is what I'd expect it to be.

January 23, 2015 - decanted for 2 hours. Very dark. Tobacco taste. I do not know what I was expecting, but expected more. Very nice wine as the time went on. I will cant longer next time.
