  June 27, 2023 - Bill's bottle. Doesn't happen often enough, but sometimes you get a wine that is obviously at the most perfect place in time--could NOT be better by even a day--and that was this wine last week. Complex, fresh and baked dark cherries with leather and medium roast coffee beans. Outstanding.

  October 15, 2021 - Bright and focused, with floral notes, stone cherries, pomegranate, candied apple. A spicy, slightly peppery and very long lasting finish. Of note, a very interesting blend: “around 60 percent Nerello Mascalese, 20 percent Nerello Cappuccio, 15 percent Nocera, and small amounts of the rare Sicilian varieties Cor'e Palumba, Jacche, and Acitana”. Technicalities aside, this is drinking really well now, but I imagine has quite a few years of life ahead of it.
