Community Tasting Notes 5

October 21, 2019 - Drinking well. Creamy malbec notes with nice acidity. Nice wine but not great.

December 5, 2018 - Nice wine, pitch black. Needs some air to develop. Black current. Nice wine but I expected some more complexity.

April 21, 2016 - Monthly tasting club "The Tasting Club" 2016-?; South America (@ RvD): Beautiful bouquet with dark berries, chocolate, coffee, toast, vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate a sweet start with ripe dark berries, cinnamon candy, some herbs, mild but fresh acidity and soft and round tannin with a pleasant bite. Really beautiful wine, but still a bit too young. 92 – 93

September 5, 2012 - Malbec: 45%, Cabernet Sauvignon: 37%, Bonarda: 12%, Tannat: 6%, just so everyone knows this unique blend. Love big wines...this has a monster bite and just keeps going. Very tannic and packed with plums, chocolate, raisins, and black cherry. Would love to get my hands on a eaerly 90's vintage of this!
