November 20, 2021 - Opened for a special event. Cork was crumbly but held up with a Durand. Powerful and direct, balance was impeccable. Mostly stone fruit and slightly bruised green and yellow apples but still fresh! Hints of ginger and warm baking spice like cardamom. Unbelievable haromnious acid and mineral finish which lasted more than 2 minutes. The mineral on the back palate was like a wall of seashell dust tapering off into the horizon only held in check by the still razor sharp acid. We were speechless. Incredible.

February 19, 2021 - Kumquat, melange, citrus and light botyris. Fresh for its age. Grand cru power but lacking the intensity and popcorn sensations in the 80s Ramonet Grand Crus. A bit too linear.

December 16, 2017 - KC. Felt tired and disappointing when initially sniffed and sipped, but really came alive. It's a subtle but complex wine, with freshness, mint and airiness. Trades in elegance rather than power of 76 Leflaive Batard alongside, but just as good.

November 26, 2016 - Bit of bret and oxidixed.
