September 11, 2010 - Wow! Big, dark fruit with hints of chocolate. Have this with rich, meaty dish. Mine was lamb shanks with rosemary mint sauce.

April 27, 2008 - Garnet. Aroma and flavor are subtle tar, rose and mushroom. Over time an earthy, mushroom characteristic dominates. Medium richness, medium/high acid with good balance and strong fine tannins. Tannins soften after three hours in the decanter. Needs three to five years. Very good/excellent at the table. Very good overall. Nice surprise.

September 14, 2007 - This nebbiolo needed no cellar time to be awesome. Chocolate, prunes, figs with in your face tannins.
