September 24, 2017 - Drinkable but lacking sufficient fruit to be memorable. Very subtle to no aging characteristics are evident. Overall this was disappointing, especially for a Brokenwood.

June 18, 2017 - Quite tight and austere, with smoky meyer lemon and a hint of graphite. Pithy and angular, it has a good finish and less acid than most HV Semillons I've had. Perhaps not the longevity other vintages would offer.

September 6, 2016 - Nice rounded citrus and melon flavors, well-balanced, middle weight and a good match with grilled tuna and grilled halibut fillet, simply prepared. Just as good as 1+ years ago.

May 7, 2015 - Very refreshing with lime and melon on the palate, medium body, and the substance to complement spinach/mushroom/Tuscan ham/onion/ sauce over pasta. Drinks well now but I'm sure will drink well over some years. I'll drink sooner for the freshness.

October 2, 2013 - Bright citrussy, grassy nose. Really youthful and fresh with a nice green apple character and zingy lime acidity. Nice balance, maybe a touch lightweight on the midpalate.
