January 27, 2019 - Bottle 6 of 6, great pizza wine, nice WFTM.
Barbera plus other grapes, solid minerality, refreshing acidity, quite lip-smacking.
    Drink now through 2019+.

May 14, 2016 - This bottle is just absolutely singing right now. Worth more than the sub $20 tariff. Shhhh. Wish I had more!

January 31, 2016 - Oh so very tasty...PnP and enjoyed a few glasses this evening...will drink this over several days. This wine is Barbera "and friends."
Upon PnP: bright purple at the core, barely fading at the rim.
Nose shows off freshly ground black pepper, savory mushroom, tart black cherry, deep plum aromas, and espresso grounds.
The palate reveals a med+ bodied wine, with beautifully astringent, fine-grained tannins that are very present, alongside bright acidity. The black cherry and plum flavors leap forward, cloaked in wet earth and leather flavors that show the old world roots of this wine and it's terroir.
The finish is med+ and is a meld of black/blue fruit and rocks/dirt. Nice tannic bite to show very good structure, this wine is drinking beautifully now, and will do so through 2019+. Very good juice, case-buy in the future for me. What a WFTM.
