  June 22, 2016 - Seemed very much like a Syrah upon opening with a lot of blackberry but decanted for about a hour then got some typical cab notes and light green pepper hints. A decent cab but not outstanding.

  April 28, 2015 - Opened an hour before pouring. Initially muted and one dimensional. After 90 minutes, it opened up quite a bit- but it then resembled more of a jammy, extracted zinfandel than a cabernet. Not a bad 'pseudo-zin', but certainly not a great cabernet for the price point ($37.50).

  July 13, 2014 - Really coming together well with some time in the bottle. Dark fruits, velvety mouthfeel, and a long finish. Give this wine an hour or two in the decanter or cellar for a few more years.
