May 6, 2024 - Opened for Nick's 25th. Still drinking beautifully! Perfectly balanced, nice chocolate on the mid-palate with dark fruit on the front and a nice dark cherry late finish. Arguably at its peak.

October 19, 2023 - Looks like some of you still have this. This is one of the 99s I bought for my son’s birth year. Tawny color. Sandalwood, porcini mushroom nose. Fig, strawberry, blueberry influenced. Decent finish. Enjoy.

November 19, 2016 - Dark garnet colored, medium to bodied, concentrated forward bright vibrant expressive sweet black raspberry, black currant and sweet blueberry fruits with tones of mocha, spicy oak and cinnamon, with hints of leather and cigar box with long chewy tongue coated finish of firm but smooth soft tannins.

July 21, 2015 - Still going strong. The fruit is bright with just a hint of black olive coming in on the back end. Nice silky texture and it opened up beautifully. Suffered a bit next to a truly exceptional bottle of '99 Bond Vecina that we drank with it.

November 8, 2014 - it's been 3 1/2 years since my last bottle, and this bottle showed almost no signs of fading. if anything, it fell apart on day 2 but not so much that it was undrinkable. this is such a special bottle.
