Community Tasting Notes 3

January 18, 2006 - Anita: Great upfront nose of cassis; cranberry; red/black licorice; clove spice; but then the mouth was astringent, over acidic; unbal. alcohol; drank with t-bone with a tangy tomatoe/onion salsa (good!). This wine is about 2 years too late!

June 18, 2004 - Anita: Purple and brick color, a bit orange-brown in there. Intense, tart, pruney and old berry aromas; strong acidic mth, light dusty t’s; pruney flavors, high in acid; only a ’00, but almost over the hill.***Intense, acidic, light body Italian style wine.

July 14, 2002 - Winery: Big, rich, blk-blueberry flavors; some cedar; cigars; med. big fruit basket; good fin. “intense blkcherry & oak-graceful fin.”
