February 13, 2013 - A killer American Tannat. Whereas the Inkblot Cab Franc was going for hedonism, the Tannat is going for classicism. This is a purple-black wine. A serious thick and closed wine with all the big dry tannins that you expect from Tannat. This wine might have 20 years of aging potential. Grilled meat flavors as well as black berry and smoke. Dusty and ultra long finish.
