December 16, 2023 - Dennis and Caroline holiday wine tasting. Let me start by stating that I love old wine. I love their unique flavors present only in old wine. Unlike anything in the food industry. This wine was however undrinkable and that is from someone who loves older wine. Prune notes at best with a sour finish. Unscorable but I will opine with an 80

April 5, 2014 - This bottle was a slight leaker, with a top shoulders fill. Cork wasn't in horrible shape but did crumble upon extraction. Aromas are slightly funky, but soft. Lots of licorice. Pretty lovely, with some spices and herbs coming in. Soft, mild mid palate with interesting soft red fruits. Pretty youthful on the palate, actually. Some metallic notes kick in on the finish which gets in the way a bit. Still pretty mild with the finish. Quite nice aromas, but it does trail off from there.

October 14, 2007 - Very mature bouquet with some sweet liquorice. On the palate there is some juice, which is amazing. For the rest candy sweetness and acidity. Much too old. No score.
