January 27, 2014 - I am confused on the relatively low ratings others have given this wine. This was a very nice Malbec with lots of fruit, medium oak and a nice round smoothness in the mouth. It had a nice oak and sweet tannin finish. Well made and well balanced. One of the better Malbecs I have had recently

January 27, 2013 - Full throttle Malbec. Dark creamy fruit, chocolate and toasted oak. Gets tirering after the initial glas. The taste and smell is ok, but it's to heavy and sweet to be really enjoyable

December 19, 2012 - Much nicer the day after opening.

October 31, 2012 - Opaque purple color with a rich, supple, creamy texture featuring flavors of plum, prunes, and mocha. Quite powerful but approachable at this stage. Finishes with long with hints of fig paste and pine nuts. Just a great buy for $20. Drink now until 2015.

October 31, 2012 - Very dark color purple with aromas of cherry and oak. The palate displays ripe, jammy flavors of dark berries with bitter graphite. Somehow, this doesn't come altogether, albeit delicious in some way - just not at $28. This doesn't come close to the 2003 vintage. Drink now until 2017.
