March 17, 2021 - straightforward appley, slightly tropical simple but quite attractive nose with a creamy, lightly oaky, smooth overlay with a slightly piquant bright herbal touch. flavour shows a simple buttery minerality, a bit too clean and over polished; finishes with an agreeable acidic-fruity echo. not particularly interesting but quite satisfying. may improve for a few years.

November 29, 2013 - Pretty good with balanced acidity and minerality alongside with the oak that is not overcoming the other aspects.
    A very good surprise.

October 14, 2013 - Neutral pale green color. A nice combination of ripe red apple and spicy oak in the nose with underlying, herbal green notes, some creamy lactic character and a hint of saline minerality. Fresh, medium-bodied and balanced on the palate with nice, bright acidity and flavors of ripe apples, stony minerality, some herbal green character, a little bit of spicy oak, a hint of salinity and a touch of buttery character. The finish is light and fresh with bright and pretty lengthy flavors of vegetal greenness, fresh green apples, stony minerality, some spicy oak, a little bit of creamy character and a hint of gooseberry.

A positive surprise: a Chardonnay that feels it is quite obviously a modern new world white, yet shows nice structure, freshness and balance. Despite the obvious oak character, the wine is far from too heavy or excessively ripe, and the oak use is very judicious, i.e. not excessive and lets the fresh fruit flavors shine. One of the better Chilean Chardonnays I've had. Perhaps a bit overpriced at 16,99€, but not much.
