  July 27, 2014 - Very enticing nose; aromas of dark fruit and oak lead one to believe this is a serious wine. On the palate, however, it fails to deliver. Thin mouthfeel with a high degree of acidity that overpowers the fruit; the oak shows up again on the finish. Some Merlot character. This is quite inexpensive and very drinkable, just not that special. Pairs well with food, and is better than most grocery store Merlots. Paid $7 for this, and it is a bargain at that price, but would not pay more.

  November 7, 2013 - nothing special, but not bad for the price. It's a pretty mellow red, heavy and soft in the mouth. would buy again at ~8 or less.
