December 6, 2020 - Drinking beautifully right after opening. A special wine, with tea, cherry and spices on the nose. There was a core of concentrated, earthy cherry, raspberry and pomegranate, almost like a cordial, that ran down the silky, medium bodied palate, with more spices, slight tannins and stem notes on the long finish. Lovely pinot that is drinking very well now, but will likely last quite a long time (A).

December 26, 2018 - Beautiful bottle of pinot. No tart sharpness, soft tannins. Strawberry, spices, and smooth complexity.

August 7, 2018 - So soft and sensuous in the mouth - but even before this is a beautiful wine. Nose of warm strawberry and spice. Incredibly lush mouthfeel. The flavors are perfectly integrated of strawberry/rhubarb but without the tartness this had 3 years ago. Super soft all the way through with a lingering finish. The acidity has softened to nothingness though the wine remains structured. Impressive.

June 12, 2018 - Just beautiful. Nose is somewhat reticent, with berries & earth. Palate is where it happens - some berries and cinnamon but an overall savory impression, fine intensity and a long savory finish. Balance is about perfect, with a silky texture that is very seductive. Great pinot, and has time yet.

November 26, 2017 - Excellent bottle of wine, one of the best bottles of pinot noir I've opened in a long time. It's in the zone now, but will hold up to another couple of years in the cellar.

Red fruits galore, some darker fruit (plum) notes, and an incredible array of spices, from Indian to Asian five spice, baking to pickling spices. Still good tension of acid and tannins, providing freshness. Excellent bottle, and paired gorgeously with oven-roasted veggies and pan-roasted chicken breast with rice and braised chard.
