December 10, 2017 - Getting a bit long in the tooth, but even at age 8 it's getting tired. A long decant improve it greatly, and drank better on Day 2, with integrated oak and tannins, showing black fruit and a soft finish. Just a hint of Brett blew off immediately.

    May 10, 2017 - 90% Cabernet
    10% Merlot

Coming in at $35-$45 this is one of PRV’s top values as compared to their flag ship cabernets. Nose is subdued with aspirin, neutral wood and dark black fruit. Medium weight with sharp acidity and crunchy black and red fruits (70/30). Lots of structure here, a bit over extracted with tannic mouthwatering finish. If you have these, time to start cracken em open. Fruit is fading, acidity and tannins will soon over power all. Purchased winery direct, stored accordingly and enjoyed 60-70 with grilled beef. Drink now…Na zdrowie

February 23, 2015 - Fruit forward with a red and black fruit preserve at its core. Lacks any earth/ mineral and drinks like a new wine despite an hour decanting. The style is fresh rather than rich and layered. Very good acidity-- does well at the table. Medium length finish.

September 20, 2013 - Bright fruit is a little over powered by a heavy layer of oak.
