January 7, 2024 - We decanted it for just under 7 hours.

    Dark red.
It is an amazingly tannic wine yet beautifully balanced. Good length with frisky acidity. After some serious coaxing, we found the tightly knit yet beautiful Tannat-fruit-ball that's ever so slowly beginning to open up.

Would love to drink this again in 10, 15, 20 and 25 years' time.

    September 2, 2022 - Worth waiting for.
    Blackberry, blueberry, hint of oak.
    Soft tannins.
I like wines just before peak. Thats now, 11 years later.

    December 22, 2021 - Perfect matured.

April 17, 2021 - Most red wines would be a good match with flank steak, roast potatoes, blue cheese butter and chimichurri, which is what we had. No surprise there.

On the back label it was recommended to pair the wine with game and red meat (obviously), but also with chocolate. So we tried that after dinner, and it was sensational. The sweetness of the chocolate made the cherry notes in the wine really come forward. Try it!

Fudge like nose, some hints of mint (After Eight) on the palate, good length.
