February 13, 2016 - Very nice Rosso. Medium-bodied, bright cherries with meaty undertones. Great acidity structure and supporting tannins. Great, but about time to drink this up...

August 9, 2015 - See previous note, the same elements were present but after the two hour decant was more muted than the bottle I drank in October of last year, this seems to be in a slow decline, drink this now if you have a bottle in your cellar.

October 9, 2014 - Two hour decant, the nose had clear tones of cherry, tar and earth mixed with a slight meatiness. The palate is medium bodied with pleasant acidity and structured tannins that hold up the cherry and cola flavors well. My first of what is hopefully many montefalco rosso wines to come.
