April 23, 2018 - A very fine wine just on the cusp: this may depend on how my bottle had been stored, but the wine was on its peak, just imperceptibly starting to lose charm.
Very complex, with primary, secondary and tertiary aromas, broad, balanced in the mouth, with still some acidity, chiseled tannins, body. Both savoury and ripe, aromatic and structured.
Outstanding at present, but it won't get much better. Drink now for maximum enjoyment. -

February 17, 2018 - Big, powerful, slightly unsophisticated, "food-wine". Sipping with a chunk of cow or big bowl of spaghetti bolognese is recommended. Sipping without is highly not recommended.

All of that is easy enough but there was a really nice amount of flower and herb to balance it, and if the acid wasn't exactly prominent there was enough to keep it pleasant. I rather liked it.

May 16, 2014 - Intensive aromas of blueberry, liquorice, cocoa with a certain touch of mint, good and powerful body, nice tannins, spicy and long finish...a very recommendable wine. Drink at 18°C
