February 5, 2023 - Nose of honey, macadamia, green fig, starchy fall apple and lilac. Viscous honey on the palate. Not overly heavy, though acidity could have been more prominent. White pepper, melon, nutty, marmalade. With a touch more acid this would be phenomenal, but this bottle was still quite good

November 27, 2022 - Marzipan, hazelnuts, cold steel, warm apple crumble on the nose. On the palette, the fruit less there, but added ginger, and nice acidity giving a real tingly feeling on the tongue. Some herbaceousness and mild pithy bitterness too. The richness of the nose didn’t translate though.

November 26, 2022 - Pours a medium gold. More restrained and less exuberant than some of the white Hermitage I’ve enjoyed in the past with baked yellow apples, honeysuckle, blanched almonds, dry river rocks, honeycomb, and camomile. There’s a touch of spice and bitterness on the palate, which is concentrated and persistent.

October 23, 2022 - Sadly oxidised likely due to poor storage. Even so one could see the shadows of what would have been a great wine…
