February 17, 2020 - Tasted next to 2011 Droin GC Les Clos. Good fruit on the nose, mix of stone and citrus fruit, oatmeal, minerality, herbs. On the palate quite compact and firm, great acidity, mineral and very vibrant. Lovely length. Excellent. Drink or keep. 92-94

June 30, 2019 - Survey of 2011 Dauvissat and Raveneau Premier and Grand Crus (San Francisco): Deep yellow. Floral and somewhat reduced nose. Lighter feel. Herbs and orange, iodine-terrific complexity, great minerality. Despite the whiff of sulfur, this ran circles around the Dauvissat-Camus Vaillons tonight.

February 11, 2019 - Medium yellow. Primordial smells of sulfur and iodine; while it may sound strange, it reminded me of walking into the caldera of an active volcano. Fantastic texture that is uniquely Raveneau. Brothy and dry papaya with average acidity but strong soil tones. Just about fully mature and unmistakably Chablis. Excellent, no weird green 2011 tones.

September 17, 2018 - Tasted next to 2011 Fevre GC Les Preuses. More backward and really quite tight at first with lots of depth and intensity. White and yellow stone fruit, crushed stones, cold cream, flowers on the nose. Vibrant and powerful in the palate, very precise with lovely length. Drink or keep. 92-93+
