February 9, 2007 - This pinot is right in my wheelhouse. Light ruby color with a clear hue throughout. This beauty evolved over the course of three hours, but the initial nose was packed with earth, black cherry and raspberry. The palate was loaded with cherry - black and red. Fine dusty tannins balanced with nice acidity and a medium to long finish. Wow.
