April 10, 2015 - The last one I had was better, maybe this is fading away as the primary fruits retreat?

August 29, 2013 - cab blend; medium body and fruit density; dusty red fruit, less acidity than i prefer; tobacco leaf and herbal tannins kick in at the end; not a fruit bomb; serviceable, but so many better choices out there.

February 7, 2013 - Really nice wine. Loads of cherry-vanilla and tobacco on the nose and palate. Some secondary notes of mint. Smooth tannins. Good to drink now, and an excellent pairing with braised lamb shank or barbecue.

    January 23, 2013 - Much better on day 2.

Lots of tannins and bitterness on day 1. Settled down on day 2; balanced and smoother.

Had trouble describing the nose on either day.

    Red fruit on the palate.

$15 at K&L. I doubt that I will buy more.
