September 18, 2021 - On the ends of its life but still a very pretty and powerful wine. My last bottle and I enjoyed it at this stage. Higg oak, but plenty of finish and texture to last. Not as bright and exciting as a few years ago, but stil a very pretty and silky wine.

December 25, 2020 - This is still a big and powerful wine. Primarily oak shows when it is opened, but it has a bit more going on with a bit of air. Long finish, big nose, texture and very little burn to the alcohol. Fruit is more pear and cooked lemon than apple and fresh lemon. Probably should drink these soon.

February 21, 2018 - GMs - Kevin back in Town: Blind. Orange, spicy oak, some lilac and jasmine. Good spice element plays well with the sweet fruit palate. I wonder if the oak might be creeping in a little too much here though.
