October 14, 2015 - This is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and petit verdot. Smells like garden vegetables, very green on the palate with mild fruit and acid. Not my style. 85 pts. Actually I think this must be Mac Forbes Hugh that I tasted since it was not a Syrah.

August 23, 2015 - Very good Syrah! We hade this bottle with some mixed grilled meats and cheese and veggies.
The nose is classic northern rhone Syrah with black pepper, meat, crushed berries, some graphite. On the palate, there's ample freshness and an elegant body, but also some sweet, spicy, fruit that makes it possible to guess new world Syrah. Everyone liked this very much, very easy to drink and enjoy. Decent value for money in Sweden. Drink or cellar for 5+ years.

June 17, 2014 - Lighter style shiraz with a very smooth finish on the palate. A very European style wine.

August 28, 2013 - Bibendum Portfolio Tasting: Nice perfumed nose with rose, pepper and blackcurrant. Palate is restrained and has plenty of spice, in the classic cool climate style. Good length, this is very easy to like.

August 30, 2012 - Tasted at Voyager Estate Masterclass 2012, Taxi Dining Room, Melbourne.
Stewed fruits, prunes were evident on the nose and palate, low intensity, flat, bland. I didn't like it, as well as the majority of the class.

August 29, 2012 - Voyager Estate Masterclass 2012 (Officers mess, Victoria Barracks, Oxford Street, Sydney): Nose Medium minus intensity, clean, developing, green and black peppercorn, sweet spice, concentrated but not jammy black fruit, cedar wood, herbaceous, leather.
Mouth Red currant, black and green pepper, spice, plenty of front of mouth phenolic grip. Very nice.
