June 28, 2021 - Screwcap. Nose of cassis and bay leaf, with a hint of black vinegar. Palate is thin and sharply acidic, but finishes with strong tannin and black-tea bitterness. Concentrated flavours of blackcurrant and raspberry, with significant oxidation. Enjoyable, but definitely past its prime. Back label recommends drinking from 2011 to 2016; I think it would have been better towards the earlier end of that range.
