May 2, 2022 - Correct, in harmony, but a wee bit dried out and tired. The weekest wine on a great night.

December 31, 2019 - New Years Eve (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Dark red color with a 6mm transitional margin. Drank a glass over 3 hours. I really enjoyed this, very elegant now and so integrated. The nose shows a mix of black cherry, cassis and blueberries, pencil, earth and scorched earth. The palate really brings out the pencil and dark berry fruits, scorched earth, gravel, and a medium body with fine integrated tannins. This is a lovely resolved and mature Bordeaux. More please.

August 6, 2019 - Same btl as Brad E. Jimmy's btl at St Gens Heidis group. Thanks Jimmy, fun btl with nice mature old school vibe.

June 24, 2019 - Champagne, Riesling, and Bordeaux with Skippy (Chicago, IL): From an era before the wines got too worked over, this is a really nice bottle of Graves, and I think it does show a little of the rocky characteristic. The fruit is mature and starting to brown, but it hasn't quite dried out yet. A nice earthy quality, as well as a hint of graphite and pencil shavings on the nose, but the palate doesn't have the complexity that many other wines had tonight. Nonetheless, there's good overall concentration here, providing some room for further aging.
