October 21, 2017 - Wine is drinking very nicely. Nice berry fruit on the nose and a nice long finish.

July 1, 2015 - An interesting wine. Very California-sytled. Notes of cherry, cola, forest floor, caramel, plum and a touch of licorice, and showing its 15.2% alcohol. Not especially faithful to the varietal, this wine would be great with barbecue. We had it with salmon (Atlantic and sockeye) and it was especially good with the sockeye and the sautéed mushrooms.

Good QPR for $15 but not for $40 retail.

Drink now (before the fruit fades and the alcohol becomes more prominent)

December 6, 2014 - Solid pinot which might benefit from further aging. Some nice stone fruit notes and a hint of cola.

November 12, 2012 - Light red pinot. Pleasant fruit nose transitioning into solid dark fruit flavors.
