July 31, 2023 - Out of 3L for a birthday party. It might have been over the hill if out of a 750, but this was right there with decent secondary flavors and aromas but all where it should be. Not overly complex and perhaps a bit heavy handed, but the crowd was pleased.

February 10, 2018 - drinking perfectly with strong earth, leather and meat along with solid raspberry and cherry fruit.

  • Eriksen Vejle Likes this wine: 88 points

December 31, 2017 - This is a very good wine, not extraordinary but a wine that falls into taste of many. Rich on fruit and nice body.

November 17, 2017 - Still drinking well, but it's definitely showing more age than a year and a half ago, and for those who prefer the fresher, plusher side, might feel they've missed it if still holding. Pretty dense coloring; I can see my hand through but just barely, and ruby to garnet at the edges. Complex aromas of earthy funk, coffee, fresh and dried herbs, anise, violets, and dark and dark red fruits. Medium body and acid, medium(+) finish, integrated tannins, and flavors of strawberry, plum, balsamic, coffee, and licorice. 90+
