July 2, 2014 - On the simple and rich side of Mosel, but pretty good. Citrus, green apple, herbs, pineapple, some tropical fruit. Fairly sweet for a Kabinett, but with reasonable acid to balance. Medium(+) bodied, chalky. Medium finish of green apple. Good.

2012 German Catalog, 6/1/2012 (link)(Jakoby-Mathy Kinheimer Rosenberg Riesling Kabinett) ($19.00) This took some work with a range of potential blending partners (various fuders) but when we were done we had a very good, magnetic Mosel, a bit on the rich side for “Kabinett” but still a tasty drink.
