December 11, 2022 - I thought in 2012 that the 2011s would develop the way the 1997s did; this is one that didn't. Lack of tight acidity to support the sugar gives and imbalanced wine that is low on energy and incision. White fruits, a bit of spice. Still young, so maybe it will show better with time, but for now . . . . Cellared since original release.

May 30, 2020 - Pretty likable - nose has that white fruit cocktail over slate feel that I often get in German Riesling. Light-bodied and sweet on the palate, but there is adequate acidity as well. Per the label, 8% alcohol, and this goes down very easy.

    December 10, 2017 - Very elegant Kabinett for a „fat“ year

July 18, 2015 - Nice, although we both felt it was a little too sweet. Prefer the Saarburger Rausch.

January 19, 2015 - Very light in the glass. A very light wine. Not much acid left the finish a little short to my taste. I didn't get the impression that this would evolve into something special with age.
