January 9, 2024 - Rich and peachy with a bit of golden delicious apple. While it's very broad and ripe there's good mineral drive throughout keeping it on point. With chicken biryani.

May 3, 2020 - Great GG. Petrol, apple, stone fruit. Hint of lemon. Lovely minerals. Long finish

March 6, 2020 - pale gold, slightly frizzante in the glass. bruised apple, wet rocks, a little petrol, chalk. pronounced intensity on the nose. same notes on the palate, but also picking up lemon, car tire. impressive length, 20 seconds.

December 13, 2019 - Late night at home. Drank over 2 nights. Definitely better with air on the 2nd night with Tim. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of rocky stony minerality, white peaches, honeysuckle, bits of petroleum oil. Developing.
On the palate, dry (though not the driest GG for sure), high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of fleshy white peaches, honey cream, petroleum, honeysuckle, rocky stony minerality. Wet saline with more air. Long honeyed finish.
Good quality. A good complex GG, but overall not very compelling. Maybe needs a bit more time? Not going downhill yet.
From the Pechstein Grosse Lage vineyard in the village of Forst in Pfalz.

October 3, 2019 - A Barbecue at the Outback of Hamburg (Kate´s house and property, North Lüneburg Heath): This bottle is an offence for Riesling-aficionados, no tension, great name, great vineyard, great warm vintage, should be a stunner,
now you know why the new owner changed nearly everything after purchase, where is fruit or saltiness? hope for other users that not all excisting bottles are like this specific one, and this is clearly a matter of quality, no off bottle, I am really annoyed!
