September 10, 2020 - Very nice nose, with blackcurrant, some tobacco, a little leafy, nice fruit. Tannins very soft, luscious, good acid, dark fruits, slight menthol end, nice length.

December 17, 2017 - Fresh and balanced, with mineral and tobacco notes. Stood up to braised beef short ribs, but nice on its own, too.

November 29, 2016 - Blind Tasting: Bordeaux No. 4 (Emma's): Appearance: Lighter and more transparent. Scarlet/crimson shade of red.
Aroma: At first, restrained but opened up after half an hour. Definitely, red fruits, potpourri, lightly perfumed.
Palate: gravelly, minerally, red cherry, grainy tannin.
A pleasant wine. My favourite of the night.
Called: 2008 Pauillac. Didn't know why but clearly my description doesn't suggest a powerful, tannic wine.
