July 2, 2022 - This is a blend of 48pc cabernet, 44pc merlot and 8pc petit verdot. Grabbed off the shelf at Carrefour this is in excellent condition despite the 11 years of age. Deep blackberry and plum type fruit and vanillin predominate, with just a tough of green undergrowth. Impressive little wine and good value around €16.
