February 19, 2021 - From Coravin, at 55F. Mature, but with a lot of bright energy. Spice, leather, dirt, anise, tart cherries, smoke on the nose. Excellent balance, nice acidity giving it lift. Still a lot of fruit present. Medium and "dirty" finish. Some bitterness on the backend. No sign of fading; seems to be at its peak. Not flawless, but very enjoyable. Sad that I only have one bottle.

October 4, 2015 - medium leathery maroonish plum red, little clarity, slight brickish hue
Nose: cranberries, leather, vegetal, oaky, mushroom, white pepper
Pal: tart cherries, cranberries, leather, plum, clove, tar, white pepper, silver, cola, oak, some complexity
    Feel: medium, savory
    Finish: medium, long
    TC8

June 13, 2012 - One of the top wines of the old burgundy blind tastings. Well balanced, ready to drink
