October 3, 2022 - In magnum. Drinking at peak even in this format with freshness and vibrancy.

May 26, 2022 - Nose of the most classic of a beautiful mature Pomerol, namely tobacco, spices and leather. Note the perfect condition of the cap.

Very supple on the palate, the fruit is still present, but we are far from the beautiful complexity offered by the best Bordeaux in this vintage. Anyway, it remains a beautiful wine, silky and digestible with a nice balance. There is a resurgence of power with the finish which is divided between cocoa and leather, all ending on a good length.

A very good Bordeaux which will gain nothing by being waited for more.

February 18, 2022 - Fully matured, great Bordeaux. Red currants and black cherries, tobacco and leather. Smooth and silky tannins. 94-95

March 29, 2020 - My last bottle of the 1990. It is a fully mature wine by now. The cork was still in a very good condition. Tobacco, some leather, nice fruit of black cherry and currant. The tannins are now smooth and silky. Unfortunately, the wine has peaked already and I would drink asap if you have some left.

December 22, 2019 - Sadly this bottle was not in any better shape than the last two. Decanted. Nose of leather, tar and tobacco. Palate wasn't bad at first, just a little tight. Once it opened up the palate was dominated by stewed fruits and an astringent finish. Not very pleasant.
