November 7, 2013 - Surprisingly delightful bottle of 05 Joshua. Ripe, opulent red and dark berry flavors that were mouthwatering on the palate coupled with flavors of mild tobacco and pepper. Time has been good to the wine as the tannins and softened appreciably and made wine very approachable. Warm, lingering finish.

November 15, 2008 - Red Carpet: Really dark plum, mud, earth & rasp puree, touch swt notes; mouth is rich, soft, velvety w/obvious alc. viscosity; big t’s, super-extracted.14.8% but seems like 15%
