September 14, 2011 - Dark cherry, brambly with pleasant smokey herbal undertones. Fulfilling palate-coating chewy texture. A handsome wine that is peaking out it's window to watch a graceful sunset. A slight fade, just a hair, after three hours in bottle, but still showing plenty of grippy tannins and some leather on the finish indicating that it should last for years more. This one brought pleasure and satisfaction.
