September 6, 2020 - Magic. After three years since my last bottle which was subdued, this bottle was absolutely fascinating. A wine that was too sweet five years ago had developed a sublime minerality and a pronounced acidity. Grapefruit and peach on the palate and a whiff of banana and exotic spices.

May 23, 2020 - This was fabulous from the first minute and remained so over two hours. At first citrusy with grape fruit bitterness, then darker, with sponti notes, violets and minerality. Creamy texture, impeccable balance, great intensity.

January 17, 2018 - Very nice riesling! mature, ripe fruit but also suprisingly sweet and heavy. I dont think this is one for the ages. Open for business...

December 24, 2017 - Magnum. Ein barockes, halb-trockenes, leckeres Grapefruit-Ungeheuer! Nichts für die Finesse-Steinelutscher-Fraktion! Ein Maul voll Wein!! Jetzt trinken!!

September 11, 2017 - This is a Spätlese !!! A beautiful , well balanced , mineral and fruity Spätlese with a bunch of acid . So lovely to have some acid in a 09 !!! If you want something dry ....... choose another bottle. I like it. Wont improve . So drink
