Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Gros Pere Likes this wine:

September 18, 2016 - On the nose, dust, earth, underbrush and muted red jam scents. In the mouth, plum, leather, dust, faded spices, soft tannins, and medium acidity with a long finish. Past its prime for most drinkers, I like the savory, dark notes offset by the brightness of the finish that makes it mature rather than moribund. Picked up a case for $10/bottle due to a brand new employee inadvertently placing the wine on the wrong table at a winery cellar sale--excellent quality for that price.

July 1, 2014 - Good, but not worth the hefty price tag IMO.
